Seasons Greetings (2021)

It’s a lazy Sunday afternoon and I’m in a daze, sleepwalking, it’s bright out but I don’t seem to register what’s going on around me. The suns are shining bright white light, I hear the murmurs of people around me and metallic wheels chirping, kids run around screaming.

In the back of my mind, I think of previous vacations and how “revitalised” I felt, these “unforgettable family moments” are what I'm looking for, maybe I'll find it in the next isle? I go around the corner into the kitchen section and see a cast iron pan I really like, I don’t need it and put it back on the shelf. What should I have for dinner later? I’ll make some ratatouille and get a nice bottle of red wine and sit on the balcony until the sun goes down while the sounds of cars rushing by on the highway lull me to sleep again.
